The nose opens with red cherry, wild strawberry, and violet layered over cedar, vanilla, and a hint of bay leaf. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and polished—juicy red fruit, cocoa, and warm spice ride fine, silky tannins with lively acidity. The finish is long and savory, echoing cherry, tobacco leaf, and a chalky mineral snap. Rooted in Viña Real’s barrel-aging tradition since the 1920s, this Crianza marries classic Rioja craftsmanship with modern drinkability.
