The Glenlivet 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750 ml is a classic Speyside expression matured in a combination of European and American oak barrels, resulting in a smooth and approachable whisky with bright fruit character and light oak influence. On the nose it greets you with aromas of summer meadow florals, tropical fruits (especially pineapple), orchard fruit such as pear and apricot, and a backdrop of vanilla sweetness. The palate is creamy and fruity, featuring flavors of apricot, greengage, buttery vanilla, citrus blossom, toasted teacake, and subtle maltiness. The finish is gentle with a soft crackle of oak spice, malt, and lingering red apple juiciness.
