After primary aging in new charred American oak, it’s finished in Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from the Mt. Brave winery, then bottled at cask strength 117.6 proof in Bardstown, Kentucky. The Cabernet cask adds lifted red-fruit tones and polished tannin to classic bourbon layers of vanilla, toffee, and warm spice.
