Aged longer than the VS designation, this VSOP reveals layered notes of ripe stone fruit, vanilla, and gentle oak with a supple, rounded mouthfeel. Founded in 1715, Martell is one of Cognac’s oldest houses, famed for its delicate distillation on fine lees and maturation in fine-grained French oak. On the nose, expect apricot, plum, and honeyed spice; the palate follows with caramel, toasted oak, and hints of almond, finishing smooth and elegant.
