It spends six years in new American white oak to reach the legal standard, then undergoes a rigorous cellular aging process for amplified depth, before finishing in fortified-wine casks—first Oloroso Sherry for dried-fruit complexity, and finally Tawny Port for plush red fruit and cocoa.
